11 February 2026 – CEDEC participated in the National STEM Expo 2026 at KL Gateway Mall, Kuala Lumpur, by showcasing Snap Circuits, offering interactive, hands-on activities that enabled students to explore basic electronics concepts in an engaging and practical way. The booth attracted strong interest, particularly from students eager to experiment and learn through play.

The event was officiated by YB Dato’ Dr. Haji Mohammad Yusof bin Apdal, Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, and organized by the National STEM Association Malaysia as a significant initiative to strengthen the nation’s development agenda in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

During the visit to the exhibition booths, the enthusiasm, curiosity, and excitement of the younger generation were clearly evident as they explored the role of STEM in shaping their world and future. This encouraging development demonstrates that the nation’s future talent can continue to be empowered when provided with the right opportunities, exposure, and guidance.

Platforms such as this expo play a vital role in nurturing interest and talent through hands-on learning experiences. The event was also attended by YBhg. Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Noraini Idris, President of the National STEM Association Malaysia, along with strategic partners, educators, industry players, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the expo.
