4th March 2026. CEDEC was honoured to participate as an exhibitor at the 10th IEEE EDTM 2026, held at SPICE, Penang. It was a truly fruitful event filled with meaningful engagements and new opportunities.
We showcased our chip design developed at USM, including our prototype on the integration of a potentiostat chip with digital microfluidic systems for biosensor applications, as well as our innovations in AI-driven EDA tools funded through industry collaboration and CREST.
We had insightful discussions with NY Creates Albany Nanotech Center, New York, which have led to a potential MoA for collaboration in advanced chip design and advanced packaging technologies. In addition, we were privileged to engage with Sandia National Laboratories on potential research collaboration.
It was also a pleasure meeting Prof. Cor Claeys from KU Leuven and his wife, where he shared valuable insights on his work in Evolution FET, in conjunction with the FET100 celebration.
Our sincere appreciation to Dr. Bernard for the invitation, and for including the Collaborative Microelectronic Design Excellence Centre (CEDEC), USM as both an exhibitor and committee member for IEEE EDTM 2026.
Looking forward to more impactful collaborations ahead.
